"Shannon Heidemann began working with our family when our son was 2.5 years old, shortly after he was diagnosed on the autism spectrum. While she worked with our son in his natural environment as his behavior therapist, she taught my husband and me the same Applied Behavioral Analysis strategies so that we could continue helping our son when she wasn't present. I cannot stress enough how much my family benefitted from Shannon's knowledge and practical examples. Because of the quality of the early intervention Shannon provided during his toddler years, our son has flourished in a fully integrated general education classroom environment since Kindergarten.

Now that our son is almost in high school, she is our family advocate for anything related to his IEP. Her in-depth understanding of special education law and IEP expertise has continued to benefit our son.
